There were so many twists and turns (and plenty of drama) along the way that I had to write about the journey and what I’ve learned.
That’s how MONEY THERAPY was born- I had so much to say about money mindset, boosting business profits, and using money as a powerful force to create the life you want that I wrote 52 workbooks about it.
I love the MONEY THERAPY program and how it helps women transform their businesses and financial lives…and I still love talking about money and business.
But my life has changed a lot over the past several years.
My role in my business has changed, as have my priorities and lifestyle.
My outlook on life is far different now from what it was before…
…largely due to losing my mother and grandfather within six months of each other.
Watching people you love deeply die breaks apart your life and identity.
As you watch life, as you once knew it, crumble around you, very little can remain the same.
For the past 18 months, I’ve been on a journey of rediscovery, delving into the depths of my soul and examining every nook and cranny of my life.
I’ve been on a quest to find the meaning of life, the role death plays in it, and how to live with no regrets.
So now, I want to write about that.
I’ve been battling depression- the kind that makes your moods unpredictable and keeps you from enjoying all the things you used to love…
…the kind that makes you feel useless, hopeless, and want to give up.
It’s one thing to be a mental health expert and help others with managing mental illness and quite another to experience it yourself.
I don’t wish depression on anyone, but I’m grateful for it, because I now understand intimately the impact it has on our lives.
Whenever I’m going through something supremely delightful or agonizingly hellish, I write more.
Writing helps me make sense of it all. Putting the drama on the page gets it out of my body.
Putting pen to paper reveals the answers to my questions and connects me to Universal intelligence.
For me, writing is a spiritual practice and a beautiful way to release creativity.
I believe we are all writers at heart and everyone can benefit from the joy of writing…if they’re able to stop thinking about it and just do it.
Change is certain and inevitable. We can either embrace it or resist it, but it will come either way.
I’m allowing change to move me, my life, and my business in new directions. I’m excited to see where it leads me and what nuggets of wisdom I’ll learn along the way.
I feel called to live differently- defy social norms and expectations and give myself permission to live life on my own terms.
I crave genuine connection, vulnerability, and realness.
Surviving a global pandemic has made phoniness and perfection intolerable.
Real, raw stories from my life. Nothing held back.
Every joy, triumph, disaster, mess, and challenge is on the table for you to see.
Stories about life and death…
…grief, depression, anxiety (and how to heal them)…
…writing…spirituality…slowing down…
…reinventing yourself and your business…
…having the courage to do what feels good to you instead of doing what everyone else tells you to do…
…real connection- to yourself, a higher power, and the people in your life.
If you only had three months to live, how would you spend your time?
What would you do?
Where would you go?
Who would you be with?
The reality is that we are all dying- even now in this very moment, you and I are one step closer to the end of our time on Earth.
On average, we are each given 4,000 weeks of life…just 27,000 days.
How can you make each and every day count?
These are the questions I want to explore at this stage of my life.
I’ve already burned through half of my days, and I don’t want to waste a single moment.
An adventure traveled with friends is far more fun and way less lonely.
If you’re craving a slower, more intentional way of life with more connection, spirituality, peace of mind, creativity, a business that feels more like YOU, and the money to afford the lifestyle you want, I invite you to come along with me down this path by signing up for my new MAKE TODAY COUNT Newsletter Subscription.
I’ll be sharing all the intimate details about how I practice living each day to the fullest- but only with subscribers. The stories I have to tell are far too personal to share with just anyone.
This means that I won’t be sending out free weekly newsletters as I have been for the past 7 years. So, if you enjoy my letters and want to keep receiving them, please sign up for the MAKE TODAY COUNT newsletter- it’s only $5/month.
In my newsletters, I’ll be sharing all the details about how slowing down has changed my life, what my lifestyle looks like, what I’ve learned, and all the challenges and hardships I encounter along the way.
The stories, practices, meditations, and tools I share weekly will be in both written form and audio version. So, you can read or listen whenever you have a free moment.
I’ll show you how I’ve approached the inner work necessary to gain clarity on my values and priorities and how my business, relationships, and identity have evolved as a result.
Clearly, the changes I’m making in my business are a reflection of that.
Hopefully, I’ll serve as an example of what’s possible for you, and my stories will inspire and empower you to pursue a life well lived.
If this feels like a “yes” to you, sign up here.
